I have designed and hand painted two of these The Wind in the Willows Sculptures.
Step into a classic tale with a contemporary twist as The Wind in the Willows comes to National Trust, Anglesey Abbey this spring.
Presented by Wild in Art in collaboration with the Animal & Plant Health Agency (APHA), a brand-new Wild in Art sculpture trail, presented in collaboration with experts at the Animal & Plant Health Agency (APHA), will bring the much-loved characters of The Wind in the Willows to life across the gardens at the National Trust’s Anglesey Abbey, Gardens and Lode Mill in Cambridgeshire.
Inspired by Kenneth Grahame’s timeless story, this reimagined trail follows Toad, Mole, Ratty the Water Vole and Badger, alongside a cast of newly introduced species, as they embark on a modern-day adventure.
Through beautifully designed sculptures, the trail explores how wildlife, farming, people and the environment are all connected, offering a thoughtful and engaging experience for visitors of all ages.
